Kathmandu & Pokhara Tour

The classic first trip to Nepal. Two nights in Kathmandu for Pashupatinath and the valley’s great stupas, two nights at Lakeside in Pokhara for boating, the Sarangkot sunrise and the Himalaya, and a final evening in Kathmandu. Private vehicle and guide throughout, with most meals included.

Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1

Arrive Kathmandu

Meet and greet at the airport and private transfer to Landmark Kathmandu. Lunch, then an easy orientation around Durbar Marg and the Narayanhiti Palace Museum area, with time for shopping.

Day 2

Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath & Thamel

A full heritage day: Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and valley views from Swayambhunath, ending with shopping in Thamel.

Overnight: Landmark Kathmandu • Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 3

Kathmandu to Pokhara, Phewa Lake

Morning flight to Pokhara (or a private drive if you prefer). Check in at Lakeside, then boating on Phewa Lake with a visit to Tal Barahi Temple and an evening walk along Lakeside.

Day 4

Sarangkot sunrise & Pokhara sightseeing

Early drive to Sarangkot for sunrise over the Annapurnas and Machhapuchhre (weather permitting). After breakfast: Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave and the World Peace Pagoda, then free time at Lakeside.

Day 5

Pokhara to Kathmandu

Morning flight (or drive) back to Kathmandu. Afternoon at leisure for shopping at Durbar Marg or Thamel, followed by a farewell dinner.

Day 6

Departure

Breakfast, check-out and private transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport.
