Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1
Arrive Kathmandu, Sanga & Kailashnath Mahadev
Airport welcome and private transfer to Fortune Resort & Wellness Spa, Bhaktapur, Nepal – Member ITC Hotels’ Group. Lunch at the resort and an afternoon visit to the Kailashnath Mahadev statue.
Day 2
Pashupatinath, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath & Thamel
Darshan at Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, and valley views from Swayambhunath, then shopping in Thamel.
Day 3
Kathmandu to Pokhara, Phewa Lake
Morning flight to Pokhara (or a private drive). Afternoon boating on Phewa Lake with a visit to Tal Barahi Temple, and an evening walk along Lakeside.
Day 4
Sarangkot sunrise & Pokhara sightseeing
Sunrise over the Himalaya from Sarangkot, then Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave and the World Peace Pagoda.
Day 5
Fly to Jomsom, drive to Muktinath
Early flight from Pokhara to Jomsom, then a 4WD drive to Muktinath. Afternoon darshan at Muktinath Temple and the surrounding sacred sites.
Day 6
Muktinath to Jomsom, fly to Pokhara
Optional early-morning puja at Muktinath, a final temple visit after breakfast, then drive to Jomsom and fly back to Pokhara.
Day 7
Manakamana by cable car, drive to Kathmandu
Drive towards Kathmandu, stopping to ride the cable car up to Manakamana Temple, dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati. Continue to the resort in Bhaktapur.
Day 8
Kathmandu Durbar Square & farewell dinner
Morning at Kathmandu Durbar Square, time for handicraft shopping and Thamel, then a farewell dinner at the resort.
Day 9
Departure
Breakfast, check-out and private transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport.

- Jomsom flights are weather dependent and can be delayed or cancelled. If they are, we switch to road transfer or adjust the overnight plan.
- Muktinath is at about 3,700 m. The itinerary keeps a comfortable pace; drink plenty of water and rest well.
- The Manakamana cable car is subject to weather and maintenance.
- Pokhara–Manakamana–Kathmandu is a full day on the road.
- Meals can be arranged for Indian, vegetarian, Jain or vegan preferences.

Yes. Travel to Muktinath is by flight to Jomsom and a short 4WD drive, with only one night at altitude. Tell us about any health concerns and we will plan accordingly.
What happens if the Jomsom flight is cancelled?
Jomsom flights often change with the weather. If a flight cannot operate, we arrange a road transfer or adjust the plan so you still complete darshan wherever possible.
